Every detail has been designed around the unique proportions of a Dachshund, from the longer body and deeper chest to those famously short legs.

The outer fleece is soft, thick, warm and water resistant, helping rain bead on the surface rather than immediately soaking through.
Underneath, a fully waterproof chest and tummy panel protects the part of your Dachshund closest to wet grass, puddles and mud. It’s carefully shaped for a comfortable fit on both male and female Dachshunds.

No Separate Harness Needed
Every DoxieDri features reinforced double D rings on the back, allowing you to attach your dog’s lead directly to their fleece for everyday walking.
Prefer using a separate harness? You can wear one over the DoxieDri instead.
Safety note: The D rings are reinforced for everyday walking. If your dog pulls forcefully, lunges or is reactive on lead, please attach their lead to a collar or traditional harness for optimal safety and control.

Getting ready for a walk shouldn’t involve wrestling a Dachshund into a jumper.
Lay the DoxieDri open, place your Dachshund’s front legs through the leg openings, wrap and secure the adjustable Velcro neck, then fasten the lined zip along the back.
Check that the neck and chest fit securely but comfortably, clip the lead onto the reinforced D rings and you’re ready to go.

Muddy Sausage? No Problem.
DoxieDri is designed for real Dachshund walks, which inevitably means mud.
Machine wash at 30°C. Before washing, we recommend fastening the back zip and securing the Velcro neck, then placing your DoxieDri inside a mesh laundry bag or old pillowcase to help protect it during the wash.
DoxieDri can be airdried or radiator dried without affecting its shape or performance, although we recommend air drying where possible to help preserve its water resistant properties for longer.

Can I attach my lead directly to the D-rings?
Yes. The reinforced D-rings are designed for everyday walking and allow you to attach your lead directly to the DoxieDri, meaning it can be used instead of a traditional harness. If your dog pulls forcefully, lunges or is reactive on lead, we recommend attaching your lead to a well-fitting harness or collar for additional safety and control.
Is the DoxieDri completely waterproof?
The DoxieDri features a fully waterproof chest and tummy panel, combined with a water-resistant outer fleece that causes rain to bead on the surface rather than soak in. It's ideal for wet walks, helping to keep your dachshund warm, dry and comfortable.
Which dachshunds is the DoxieDri suitable for?

Can the DoxieDri be machine washed?
Yes. The DoxieDri can be machine washed at 30°C. It can also be tumble dried or dried on a radiator without affecting its shape or performance, although air drying will help preserve the water-resistant finish for even longer.
Does the DoxieDri go over my dog's head?
No. The DoxieDri features a step-in design with a zip-up back and adjustable Velcro neck, making it quick and easy to put on without pulling it over your dachshund's head. Perfect for quickly getting out of the door or for dachshunds with IVDD who benefit from avoiding garments being pulled over their head.
Why does my Dachshund get so cold?
