Hi, I'm Jade, a just a dachshund-obsessed girl and the founder of Sausage Dog Box.
Like many dachshund owners, I discovered just how difficult it was to find clothing and accessories that actually fitted a sausage dog properly. Most products were designed for "dogs" in general, leaving dachshunds with rubbing harnesses, baggy jumpers, poor fits and uncomfortable walks.
I knew there had to be a better way.
So, armed with a passion for design, textiles and, of course, dachshunds, I began creating products made specifically for the unique shape of sausage dogs. What started with one tiny rescue dachshund called Minnie has grown into one of the world's best-known dachshund clothing and accessories brands.
Built around real dachshunds... and an incredible community
What started with one tiny rescue dachshund called Minnie has grown into something I could never have imagined.
I've always been incredibly fortunate that Sausage Dog Box has never really felt like "work". It's always felt like a fun hobby that somehow grew into a business, fuelled by my love of dachshunds, designing new products, and chatting with fellow sausage dog owners.
The dachshund community is genuinely one of the kindest, funniest and most supportive communities I've ever been part of. Over the years I've made lifelong friendships, celebrated countless happy moments with customers and their dogs, and received support during some of life's more difficult times too. It's a community I'll always be incredibly grateful for.
Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine we'd one day be designing our own collections, shipping them to dachshunds all over the world, or exhibiting alongside some of the biggest names in the pet industry at Crufts, the world's largest dog show. Every milestone still feels just as surreal today as the first order we ever packed.

A little throwback to 2020 at our very first Dogstival.
