Here at Sausage Dog Box HQ, we are always looking to improve, and based on a year of testing, we felt the fit could be better for more petite dachshunds and puppies. Our DoxieLite harness are still just as durable and a great fit on chunky dachshunds, but they are now 33% lighter and an improved shape.

Absolutely obsessed! 😍 We’ve always struggled to find a harness that fits and is comfortable for Dobby but the new Doxie lite range is a game changer! The longer and thinner style suits him perfectly as he’s quite a long mini - the harness fits like a glove. Super easy to adjust and Dobby was not bothered by it being on him - usually takes a while for him to get used to a different harness but he looked so comfy in it. This pattern will always be our fav but can’t wait to buy more patterns ❤️

I have been looking for a harness for ages that doesn't rub the back of his elbows. Hurrah, perfect fit and looks smart too.

Purchased a harness for both my lads which are slightly different shapes although both sausages. Both harnesses fit perfectly and it’s the first harness ( we have tried many brands) which the buckle is away from the elbow which prevents rub.
They are easy to alter and have a soft padded feel, strong stitching with a reflective feature that actually works.
We are very pleased with the product and grateful for the recommendation from fellow sausage owners. The matching lead is nice too!!

Actually I have a jack Russell/whippet cross,and ordinary harnesses simply don’t have enough length to not cause rubbing behind front legs. This harness fits great without rubbing. Very pleased

I have had several harnesses for my very pully Dachshund and struggled to find a suitable harness which is tough enough but also won't rub behind his front legs. This harness has done the trick and was a good price. I paid £70 for a handmade one from another company which raved about its product, but it didn't last. I can tell by the materials used and the way it is constructed that this harness will last. I am very happy I found the sausage dog box! I highly recommend this harness :-)

I have only tried it on Bertie to see if it fits him as it’s still cold, but it’s a wonderful fit and when it warms up I will be using it for sure! At the moment he’s still in his waterproof fleece we have from here!

Was desperately waiting for this product to come back in to match up with the perfect fit coat and lead already purchased in the sophisticated red tartan, which is great for the Christmas season. It didn't disappoint; great quality and fits well. My little dachshund hasn't worn this shape harness before, but she looks super comfortable in it.
