Many Dachshunds suffer with separation anxiety, so it is vital they have a safe and comfortable space to call their own.

In addition, sadly 1 out of 4 Dachshunds are estimated to suffer with IVDD. Following injury, Vets usually recommend 'crate rest' for up to 10 weeks to help with the recovery. Whilst we hope you are never in this position, it is always a good idea to ensure your dachshund is content with being in a crate, for if this were to be the situation you find yourself in one day.
