Keep Your Dachshund Cool in Style with the Nautical Sandy Sausage Cooling Vest
Your dachshund’s must-have essential for summer — our Nautical Sandy Sausage Cooling Vest combines seaside charm with advanced cooling technology. Specially designed for sausage dogs, this cooling tee helps prevent overheating while looking effortlessly stylish.
Unlike standard dog cooling vests, ours is made from a premium fabric blend chosen for its:
- High breathability
- Ultra-lightweight feel
- Superior water absorption
- Long-lasting cooling effect
- 30+ Sun Protection
- Barrier for dogs who suffer with seasonal allergies
This carefully engineered material ensures the vest stays damp and effective — without trapping heat against your dog’s body. When inferior cooling vests miss these critical factors, they can actually make dogs hotter. That’s why we set the bar high — because your dachshund deserves the best.
As part of our Sausage Dog Box Summer Collection, this vest also provides UPF 30+ sun protection — perfect for dachshunds with thin fur, light coats, or skin sensitivities.
Features:
- Designed specifically for dachshunds
- Offers cooling relief + UV protection
- Classic nautical style for seaside walks
- Lightweight, comfortable, and easy to wear
- Available in 10 sizes to fit every Dachshund
How It Works:
Just wet the vest with cold water, wring out the excess, and pop it on. The vest stays cool as it evaporates — helping your dachshund beat the heat during walkies, fetch, and summer adventures.
Our DoxieCool Dachshund Cooling vests are available in a range of exclusive seasonal prints to suit your pup’s personality:

Can’t believe I’ve found a business where it caters to my mini dachshunds. As this was my first purchase for my second mini dachshund and I wasn’t sure of his size Jade suggest medium slim from his measurements as he is only 7 months and she was right. I have brought multiple purchases from this business and the quality, and communication from the owner is fantastic. Now need to start filling up Milo’s wardrobe from here

I am so happy with my new cooling vest. I am cool yet stylish! My hooman also loves the design as it reminds her of the family beach hut!

This design is soooo cute and fits perfectly. Helps Mika to keep cool but also looks after his skin with his allergies

The vest works well as far as cooling goes, stays wet and cool for a really long time and my dog seemed comfortable in it, even out in the heat. However, the pattern faded after only one wash (in the washing machine). The outside seems to be made from some sort of mesh, and the pattern that was printed on the mesh itself disappeared, while the pattern underneath stayed. Makes it look like a grid. Shame that it couldn't hold up. Doesn't affect the functionality though.

Lovely idea to keep my sausage cool. Had to have help in selecting size and received a really fast email with details on what measurements were needed. Came back to me super quick and I was able to order straight away. Delivery just as fast. Fit is perfect and my sausage looks very smart in it too.
