Wholesale Terms and Conditions

Wholesale Terms and Conditions

Effective from: 24 July 2026

These Wholesale Terms and Conditions apply to all wholesale applications, accounts and orders placed with Sausage Dog Box (“we”, “us” or “our”).

By applying for a wholesale account, accepting an approved wholesale account or placing a wholesale order, you confirm that you are purchasing products wholly or mainly for business resale and agree to these terms.

1. Wholesale account applications

Wholesale access is available only to approved businesses and is granted at our discretion.

Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We may approve, decline, suspend or close a wholesale account where we reasonably consider it necessary to protect our brand, customers, products or existing retail relationships.

You must provide accurate and complete information about your business, premises, website and intended sales channels. You must inform us if this information changes.

Wholesale accounts are personal to the approved business and must not be transferred, shared or used to purchase products on behalf of another person or business.

2. Approved products and sales channels

Wholesale approval does not automatically authorise a stockist to sell every Sausage Dog Box product through every sales channel.

Products may be sold only through the business, physical premises, website and other sales channels declared in your application and approved by us. You must obtain our written approval before adding a new shop, website, social-commerce account or other sales channel.

We may make certain products available only to selected stockists or approved types of retail outlet. This may include DoxieDri and other core, limited-edition or high-demand products. Access to a product within a wholesale catalogue does not override any product-specific arrangement confirmed to you in writing.

Products must not be listed or sold through third-party marketplaces, including Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Temu or similar platforms, without our prior written approval.

3. Exclusivity

Wholesale approval does not include geographical, product or sales-channel exclusivity unless this has been expressly agreed by us in a separate written agreement.

In some circumstances, we may offer a degree of local or product-specific exclusivity. Any exclusivity arrangement may be conditional upon matters including:

  • The geographical area covered
  • The products or collections covered
  • The approved sales channels
  • Minimum opening and repeat-order commitments
  • Continuing sales performance
  • Account conduct
  • The duration of the arrangement

Unless expressly stated otherwise, exclusivity does not restrict sales made directly by Sausage Dog Box through our own website, events, platforms or other direct-to-customer channels.

We may review, amend or withdraw an exclusivity arrangement in accordance with its written terms, including where agreed purchasing or performance requirements are not maintained.

4. Wholesale prices and VAT

Wholesale prices are available only to approved customers signed into an authorised company account.

The wholesale price applicable to an order is the price shown through your account or confirmed in our written quotation at the time the order is accepted.

Prices will indicate whether VAT is included or excluded. VAT will be charged at the applicable rate and itemised on the relevant order documentation or VAT invoice.

We may change wholesale prices, recommended retail prices and product availability at any time. Changes will not affect an order that we have already accepted unless an obvious pricing error has occurred.

5. Recommended retail prices

We may provide recommended retail prices to help stockists position our products consistently.

Recommended retail prices are recommendations only. Each independent stockist remains responsible for determining its own resale prices.

6. Minimum orders

Opening-order values, repeat-order values, pack quantities, product minimums or ordering increments may apply.

Any applicable requirements will be displayed in the wholesale catalogue, stated on the wholesale page or confirmed before we accept your order.

We may update minimum-order requirements from time to time.

7. Orders and acceptance

Placing or submitting an order does not mean that we have accepted it.

Wholesale orders may be submitted to us as draft orders for review. We may check product availability, quantities, approved sales channels and delivery costs before confirming the final order.

An order is accepted when we issue written confirmation or a final invoice, or when payment is accepted and the order enters processing.

We may decline or amend an order where products are unavailable, quantities are unreasonable, a pricing error has occurred, the order conflicts with an existing written arrangement, or we reasonably believe the products may be resold through an unapproved channel.

8. Payment

Unless we have expressly agreed otherwise in writing, payment is required in full before an order is dispatched.

Any credit or deferred-payment terms are offered at our discretion and may be changed or withdrawn. Payment must be made by the due date shown on the invoice.

We may suspend further orders or account access while an invoice remains overdue.

The stockist is responsible for reasonable costs incurred by us when recovering overdue business debts, together with any statutory interest and compensation that may apply.

9. Delivery

Delivery charges are calculated according to the size, weight and destination of the order and will be confirmed before payment or final acceptance.

Any free-delivery threshold or promotional delivery arrangement will be stated separately and may be changed or withdrawn.

Dispatch and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly confirm a guaranteed date in writing. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, severe weather, events outside our reasonable control or incomplete delivery information supplied by the stockist.

You must ensure that the delivery address is complete and that somebody is available to receive the order where required.

10. Stock availability

All products are subject to availability.

We may limit quantities, withdraw products, change product specifications or make reasonable improvements to products and packaging without notice.

11. Checking deliveries

You must inspect the delivery promptly after receipt.

Missing, incorrect, visibly damaged or faulty products must be reported to us in writing as soon as reasonably possible and, where practicable, within five business days of delivery.

Please include the order number, affected product and quantity, a description of the issue and clear photographs where relevant.

You must retain the products and packaging while we investigate. Depending on the circumstances, we may replace the affected items, issue a credit or refund, or arrange their return.

12. Wholesale returns and cancellations

Wholesale purchases are business-to-business transactions and do not benefit from consumer cancellation rights.

We do not accept returns of correctly supplied, non-faulty products because they have not sold, are no longer required or were ordered in unsuitable quantities, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Orders cannot normally be cancelled or amended once processing has started. If we agree to a cancellation or return, reasonable administration, payment-processing, delivery or restocking costs may be deducted.

This does not affect your rights where products are faulty, materially misdescribed or supplied incorrectly.

13. Product presentation and brand standards

Products must be presented accurately, professionally and in a way that does not damage the Sausage Dog Box brand.

Stockists must not:

  • Remove, replace or obscure our branding, labels or packaging
  • Rebrand our products or present them as their own
  • Alter products without our written permission
  • Make inaccurate claims about product performance, composition or suitability
  • Use our brand in a business name, domain name, social-media handle or paid advertisement in a way that suggests the stockist owns or officially represents Sausage Dog Box

Product descriptions must not provide medical, safety or performance guarantees beyond the information supplied by us.

14. Images and intellectual property

All Sausage Dog Box names, logos, product names, designs, photographs, written content and other brand materials remain our intellectual property or that of the relevant rights owner.

Approved stockists may use product images and marketing materials supplied or expressly approved by us solely to promote genuine Sausage Dog Box products through their approved sales channels.

Materials must not be materially altered, supplied to third parties or used after the wholesale relationship ends without our permission.

No wholesale arrangement transfers ownership of our intellectual property or permits the copying, manufacture or development of products based on our designs.

15. Confidential information

Wholesale prices, unreleased product information, launch dates, trade materials and other information identified as confidential must not be disclosed to unauthorised third parties.

Stockists must not advertise, publish or sell unreleased products before an agreed launch date.

16. Account suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate wholesale access where a stockist:

  • Provides false or misleading information
  • Fails to pay an amount when due
  • Sells through an unapproved business or sales channel
  • Lists products on an unapproved marketplace
  • Misuses our brand or intellectual property
  • Breaches an exclusivity or launch arrangement
  • Acts in a way that may reasonably damage our brand, customers or existing retail relationships
  • Otherwise materially breaches these terms

Termination does not remove liability for orders already placed or money already owed.

Any permission to use our product imagery, marketing materials or confidential information ends when the account is terminated.

17. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the above, we will not be responsible for indirect or consequential business losses, loss of profit, loss of anticipated sales, loss of goodwill or losses arising from products being unavailable.

Our total liability in relation to an affected wholesale order will not exceed the amount paid or payable for that order, except where the law does not permit such a limitation.

18. Changes to these terms

We may update these Wholesale Terms and Conditions from time to time.

The version applying to an order will ordinarily be the version published or otherwise provided to you when that order is placed. Continued use of a wholesale account after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

19. Governing law

These terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over any dispute or claim arising from these terms.

20. Contact

Questions about wholesale accounts, orders or these terms should be sent through our contact page or to the wholesale contact details provided with your account.
