Feel free to lock your Dachshund puppy's crate at night when they are ready for it. Just make sure to take the time to help them feel at ease and comfortable staying in the crate for an extended period without you nearby. “What if my Dachshund hates their crate?”
Encourage your Sausage to enter the Crate. Place some delicious treats in and around the crate to entice your Daxi to go inside. If they don’t want to enter the crate right away, don't worry! Don't force them inside, just keep tossing the treats inside until they feel safe and comfortable enough to venture in on their own. Happy training! 🦴
