RETURNS & REFUNDS
We offer a 14 Day return policy, which means that you have 14 days after receiving your order to send your return. Please note, as a small business and to keep our prices low for our customers, we are unable to offer a free returns process and initial shipping costs will be deducted from any refunds due.
To be eligible for a refund, your item(s) must be unused, unworn, unwashed and in the same condition that you received it. Please contact us first if you need to return a sale item (exclusions apply).
We recommend that you carefully try new items indoors, just in case you need to return them.
OUR SIMPLE 3 STEP RETURNS PROCESS:
1. Pop your item(s) in a packaging bag with a note of which items you are returning and why. Please also include you order number and your name.
2. Post back to us (we advise you use a tracked service) Address:

3. Once your return has been received and checked we will aim to process your return within 7 working days.
Large Items
If you need to return a larger item such as a pram or crate please get in touch with us via email to arrange a return.
Faulty/damaged items
Please inspect the items upon receiving your order and contact us ASAP if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item/size so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Exchanges
Unfortunately, we do not currently offer exchanges. You are welcome to return any unwanted items and make a separate purchase for the new item/s.
Refunds
You will be automatically refunded on your original payment method minus any initial postage costs, which is usually £4.99 for a Royal Mail 48 hour Service, £6.49 for a 24 hour service and £11.99 for Special Delivery. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process the refund.
If you receive a free gift with your order and return any of the items, the free gift must be returned too. If it is not returned, the cost of the free gift may be deducted from your refund.
Please take note that if you spend over £55, you're eligible for free 48 Hour Royal Mail shipping. However, if you choose to return items from the order, a deduction for the initial postage cost already paid by Sausage Dog Box may be deducted from the refund amount.
If you would like to place another order for your Sausage Dog and you are unsure on the size would be best, please feel free to get in touch with us at sales@sausagedogbox.co.uk. It would be helpful to include the item you wish to purchase, your dachshunds neck, chest and back measurements, along with their general build as each item has a different design and amount of stretch. We are always happy to assist with sizing as best we can, so feel free to get in touch!
